Prior to real estate, I was an engineering manager working in Austin since 1989 for Fisher-Rosemount Systems, a company that manufactures Distributed Control Systems and provides related engineering services. Known as a manager with effective people skills, I also was certified as an instructor for Interaction Management training and taught associated classes in people skills to management and non-management employees.
My technical/managerial background has greatly aided my abilities to work in real estate, whether involved in negotiating contracts, analyzing and evaluating data, communicating with local clients or global travelers during the home buying or selling process, or helping to maintain calm attitudes during the sometimes ups and downs of real estate transactions.
Reading, Pennsylvania - I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, living in the Reading area just prior to moving to Austin. Reading is located about an hour west of Philadelphia and has been famous for its beautiful rolling hills and its outlet stores.
Mentor, Ohio - While working for an engineering firm in Pennsylvania, I relocated to Mentor, Ohio just outside of Cleveland during the construction and startup phases of a local power plant. I still have some great friends in the area.
Ft. Worth, Texas - On another project, I lived near Ft. Worth as my introduction to Texas. Different in a lot of ways from Austin, Ft. Worth has a lot to offer in the Texas tradition.
Sacramento, California - Another engineering project had me living in the Sacramento, California area. This was another great location that I really enjoyed, living within a comfortable drive to Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, California wine country, and the beautiful California coast.
Austin, Texas - I moved to Austin in 1989 - what a great area! Since moving to Austin, I’ve lived in the Lost Creek subdivision near West Lake and leased in the Lake Pointe subdivision on Bee Cave Road while having a home built. Currently I live in the West Cave Estates subdivision just 10 minutes from Bee Cave, near Hamilton Pool Road and RR12—a wonderful hill country setting with room to roam!
